Kiang Sankandi village will get a state-of-the-art clinic and a community hospital which construction is set to begin next month, June 2023.
It will be a well-equipped facility with a capacity of 100 beds to attend to the health needs of Gambians in a range of services including Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Dermatology, Immunizations, Minor and Major surgeries, Physiotherapy and Oncology.
The project was initiated last year by Masireh Healthcare Company Limited under the leadership of Mustapha Kambi from Kiang Karantaba who is currently residing in the United States.
Yahya WK Marong, Secretary of Masireh Clinics announced the scheduled commencement of the project “sequel to the memorandum of understanding between the community of Kiang Sankandi detailing the modus operandi, Physical Planning Department, Ministry of Lands and Regional Integration and Attorney General Chambers.”
Masireh Clinics pledged to provide affordable general care for all ages, as well as provide multiple procedures to create a complete health care solution.
“We will provide procedures including but not limited to mole removals, biopsies, trigger point injections, and much more. We will also incorporate multiple modalities, such as cryotherapy, hyfrecator, shaving, and excisional removal of lesions,” Mr. Marong, spokesperson of the Masireh Clinics said.
