Dou Sano, adviser to President Adama Barrow, has attacked the opposition United Democratic Party over his alleged dismissal, rejected the claim as “utterly false”.
Sano has come on the spotlight after social media reports claimed that he has been sacked by the president after the ruling party’s disastrous May 20 mayoral elections defeat which saw UDP swept the key councils seats in the country including Banjul, Kanifing Municipality and West Coast Region.
But in a video shared with Gambiana showing the presidential adviser clearing his farm, Sano said he has no time for political tittle-tattle.
“You people should stop talking this senseless talks, we will very soon release a statement to show who are the real workers in the United Democratic Party. United Democratic Party will not progress.
“I have no problem with President Barrow. My ideology with President Barrow’s ideology are the same which is to develop The Gambia and unite Gambians and bring all tribe together for peace and development,” he said.
