Club Barra where the dethroned wrestler Leket Bu Barra hails from has lodged a formal complaint to the Police headquarters complaining that its fans were beaten and tear-gassed by the police officers from the Anti-crime unit. 

Speaking to Gambiana, the club manager Kebba Drammeh, said: “we have officially lodged a complaint at the Police headquarters in Banjul (Complaint & Discipline) against the Anti Crime Unit for assaulting, humiliating, beating and tear gassing Leket, his entourage, and fans during his bout against Yahya Jammeh last Sunday 28th May 2023.”

This comes after the defeat of their wrestler Leket Bu Barra who have been on the throne of wrestling kingship for many years.
