Senegalese President Macky Sall has arrived to a tumultuous welcome in Banjul for the second edition of a presidential council meeting to be held at the OIC building in Bijilo.

The meeting is a forum for leaders in The Gambia to discuss their plans and strategies for strengthening the country’s economy, security and social development.  

Other issues to be discussed include The Gambia’s national development priorities, regional and international cooperation, and other topics of mutual interest.
