The Gambian President Adama Barrow will leave Banjul today for the provinces a week before he starts his month long holiday.
Barrow will spend his annual leave in his home village of Mankamang Kunda.
In a statement State House said: “The public is hereby informed that His Excellency Adama Barrow, President of the Republic of The Gambia, will depart Banjul on Thursday, 28th September 2023, for a series of engagements in rural Gambia.
“At the end of his week-long engagements, President Barrow will proceed on his annual leave from 4th October to 8th November 2023 at his home village of Mankamang Kunda.
“The public is informed that His Excellency, Vice President Muhammed B Jallow, will oversee engagements of the Office of the President, and all communications should be addressed to the Chief of Staff, Office of the President, State House, Banjul.”
