Police have arrested a driver for allegedly killing seven people in Jarumeh Koto village on Saturday night.

Dozen more people are hospitalised with serious injuries.

According to the police, the tragic accident happened when the vehicle rammed into a crowd of celebrating football supporters along the highway, leading to this catastrophic event.

“The driver involved has been taken into police custody, and the case is under investigation to ascertain the details and circumstances surrounding the accident,”acting police spokesman Cadet Modou Musa Sissoho said.
