A Gambian migrant has died in the Libyan town of Sabha.

The deceased whose name is yet to be established is known to have suffered from severe tooth ache.

“The deceased was having a tooth pain and he went to the hospital the doctor gave him an injection and when he went back home things got worse, all his face got swollen

“He then went back to the hospital and explained it to them, and then they gave him another injection and he died,” Ebrima Drammeh, Italy-based Gambian migrants rights activist told Gambiana

“According to his friends in Sabha the hospital buried his dead body without informing his friends or family members or the Gambian counsellor in Tripoli. He’s a young man we don’t know his name or surname or the village he is from in Gambia,” he added.
