A young Gambian player and coach has died while trying to reach Europe through the perilous “back-way” journey.

Moses Jassey was one time player for Wallidan and head coach of local football team ‘Juventus FC’. 

Serekunda East Sports Development Committee expressed their condolences to the deceased family. 

“The SESDO Exco is saddened with the news of the demise of Juventus FC Head Coach Moses Jassey commonly known as Daddy Boy. May his soul rest in perfect peace, our deepest condolences to Juventus Football Club and the deceased family,”the committee said.
