Kunta Kinteh Ferry has been taken off service after suffering yet another breakdown. 

The breakdown happened less than three days since it resumed operations after a month long maintenance. 

“The Management of Gambia Ferry Services wishes to inform its customers and the general public that the ferry closed today at 6pm due to routine maintenance works on  the new engines,” The Gambia Ferry Service said, while shunning to name the ferry.

However, it added that the ferry will resume operations on Wednesday morning.
