Three people – two females and one male -have been confirmed dead in a fatal car accident in Kiang while two others are battling for life in hospital. 

The dead are identified as Hawa Ceesay, Mam Sirrah Secka, and Omar Secka.

“The accident resulted in the immediate deaths of three individuals—two females and one male. The driver, Madi Secka, is currently receiving treatment, while Sheikh Secka has been referred to Farafenni for further medical care. The victims were rushed to Soma Hospital for urgent medical attention,” police said.

Police urged all road users, especially those traveling back from the “Gamou” to exercise caution and drive responsibly to prevent such unfortunate incidents.
