President Adama Barrow will today begin a countrywide tour, fulfilling Section 222 (15) of the 1997 Constitution of The Gambia.

The two-week tour, running from 18th November to 6th December 2024, aims to provide the President with firsthand insight into the living conditions of citizens and assess the impact of government policies, particularly in priority areas such as agriculture, education, health, and youth entrepreneurship.

President Barrow is expected to hold over 19 public meetings and make 26 spot visits to various development projects across the country.

The tour will commence in the North Bank Region, where traditional authorities and officials will welcome the President at Barra.
