Police in Latrikunda German have arrested Sheikh Njie, 18, in connection with an alleged breaking and entering incident that resulted in the theft of sixteen air conditioner compressors valued at D90,000.

The arrest follows a theft complaint filed on Monday (November 25). Investigators swiftly responded to the report, visited the scene, and reviewed CCTV footage that reportedly captured the suspect and two accomplices committing the crime. The accomplices remain at large as police continue their search.

In a statement, the police encouraged the public, particularly business owners, to consider installing CCTV systems to deter criminal activities and assist in solving similar cases.
