Wallidan FC secured a dramatic late victory against Baalor Sarr, maintaining their perfect start in the GFF Men’s 2nd Division League. In a thrilling match where Baalor Sarr were desperate for their first win of the campaign, Wallidan were eager to register their second consecutive victory.
The first half was a tense affair, with neither team able to break the deadlock despite several missed opportunities. Baalor Sarr’s defence stood firm, frustrating Wallidan’s attackers and keeping the game goalless at halftime.
Both teams returned for the second half with renewed vigour, playing some beautiful, fluid football in search of a goal. As the match entered stoppage time, Wallidan’s second-half substitute, Lamin Sarr, struck a superb shot past the Baalor Sarr goalkeeper to secure all three points for his team.
With this victory, Wallidan FC now sit on 6 points from two matches, while Baalor Sarr continues to search for their first win after two games.
