Gambia’s Minister of Fisheries and Water Resources Musa Drammeh has expressed the country’s eagerness to leverage Morocco’s experience in fisheries. 

Drammeh made the remarks in Dakhla, Morocco on Wednesday at the African forum of the fisheries and aquaculture industry. 

He stressed that Morocco has adopted an ambitious strategy for the sustainable development of the fisheries sector, highlighting the Kingdom’s achievements in this field.

The Gambian minister also pointed out that the forum is a platform for exchanging expertise and experience for investors and entrepreneurs in the fields of fishing and aquaculture.

The meeting is also an opportunity for participants to discuss investment in the fishing industry and to forge partnerships between African countries, he added.
