Lamin Sibi Jatta, Brikama United’s goalscorer in their 1-0 victory over the defending champions Real De Banjul, said the team was unfazed with coach Ebrima Jatta’s comments before the match. 

Ebrima Jatta, the coach of Real De Banjul professed that his side will triumph at least with a 3 goal margin against the Satayba boys in a pre-match interview ahead of the classic encounter.  

“We went for a win; we were cool-headed, knowing that Real de Banjul is not our problem. I am happy with my goal. 

“Before the game, their coach spoke about our visit to Basori Live Your Dreams field, mentioning that we would lose with 3-0. We didn’t pay attention to it, nor did we have pressure facing the champions; we turned his words to motivation.” Lamin Sibi told the Sports Editor of The Alkamba Times.
