Talented student athlete Abdoulie Saidy has done it again winning the 5000m in a grand style that forced the spectators and fans to give him a standing ovation for the incredible stamina he has shown throughout the race to claim Gold with a timing of 14 minutes and 30 seconds. 

Saamasang travels with two athletes but with Abdoulie they are assured of winning Gold in the long distance race even before taking an approximately 385 km journey from Brikama to Basse.  

Muhammed F Janneh of Gunjur scooped the Silver Medal to cement Kombo South’s pedigree in the long-distance races.

Abdoulie Touray of Latrikunda Sabiji took home Bronze to increase the chances of “Plasaa” winning the championship.
