
President Adama Barrow has appointed Momodou Sabally as deputy national campaign manager of the ruling New People’s Party (NPP), aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots mobilisation.
As the country gears up for 2026 presidential election, President Barrow and his party believe Mr Sabally’s appointment will significantly enhance the NPP’s
grassroots engagement and mobilisation efforts.
“The Secretary General and Party Leader of the NPP extended his warmest congratulations to Mr. Sabally on this important official responsibility. He conveyed his full support, as well as that of the party’s executive and its entire membership.

“Furthermore, the Party Leader seized this opportunity to issue a strong call to action to all members and supporters of the NPP and its allied partner parties. He urged them to build upon their existing achievements, to collaborate seamlessly at all levels, and to fortify their bonds of unity and solidarity,” Seedy SK Njie, Deputy Spokesperson, NPP said in a statement.
