Gambian international Abdoulie Ceesay continued his impressive goalscoring form as FC St. Pauli secured a 2-0 victory over Karlsruher SC in Germany’s Bundesliga 2.

The Gambian forward opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, finishing off a move assisted by Connor Metcalfe to give St. Pauli the lead.

Lars Ritzka doubled St. Pauli’s advantage shortly after half-time, helping the German side secure all three points with a strong performance.

Ceesay has now scored three goals in five league appearances this season, underlining his impressive start to the campaign and growing influence in Germany.
