Gambian international Ablie Jallow has officially parted ways with FC Metz, bringing an end to a five-year spell at the French club.

The 26-year-old winger made 102 appearances and scored 15 goals during his time with Metz, playing a key role across multiple seasons in both Ligue 1 and Ligue 2. Known for his pace, creativity, and technical ability, Jallow also enjoyed loan spells at Ajaccio and Belgian side RFC Seraing during his time with the club.

While Metz confirmed his departure earlier today, Jallow’s next destination has not yet been officially announced.

However, reports suggest a move to Swiss champions Young Boys could be in the works, with other clubs in France and Belgium also monitoring his situation.

Jallow remains a regular figure in The Gambia’s national team setup, and a fresh start at club level could offer the perfect platform ahead of upcoming international fixtures.
