Gambian forward Ablie Jallow made a significant impact in FC Metz’s thrilling 2-1 victory against Troyes, finding the back of the net and helping his team momentarily seize the top spot in the French Ligue 2 standings with an impressive 56 points.

Metz now lead the pack just one point ahead of fellow promotion contenders Lorient, who still have a game in hand.

This goal marks Ablie’s second in his last three matches for Metz, reclaiming his goalscoring prowess for the French Club.

It’s noteworthy that he recently withdrew from the Scorpions squad for their World Cup qualifiers due to injury concerns.
