France’s flagship airline Air France has launched its first direct flights from Paris to Banjul.

The plane arrived in Banjul yesterday (November 1) at 16:55 with 270 passengers on board. 

Air France four weekly flights to Banjul was launched as the airline increased its capacity for the winter tourist season (October 2021 – March 2022) to 182 destinations. 

The Gambia’s tourist season kicked off on October 22 with a Gambia Experience flight from the United Kingdom. 

The Gambia Experience flight was followed by TAP Portugal on Sunday, 31st October 31 and then the Air France flight on November 1. 

TUI flight from Gatwick and Manchester will arrive in Banjul on November 2nd and 3rd respectively.
