Gambian winger Alasana Yirajang produced a moment of brilliance, scoring a spectacular overhead kick to inspire Slovan Bratislava to a 2-0 victory over Georgian champions Iberia in the first leg of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League second qualifying round.

Slovan Bratislava took the lead in the 25th minute through Andraž Šporar, who calmly broke the deadlock to put the Slovak champions in front.

Just six minutes later, Yirajang doubled the advantage with a sensational overhead kick in the 31st minute, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance and giving his side a commanding first-leg lead ahead of the return fixture.

The impressive victory puts Slovan Bratislava in a strong position as they seek qualification for the next round of Europe’s premier club competition, with Yirajang’s spectacular strike undoubtedly one of the standout moments of the match.
