Ambassador Jainaba Jagne made a farewell call on the President of Ethiopia Taye Atske-Selassie as she comes to the end of her diplomatic tour of duty in Ethiopia.

The Ethiopian head of state commended Ambassador Jagne for her efforts in strengthening ties between Ethiopia and The Gambia. He also wished her good luck in her future endeavours. 

The Gambia and Ethiopia officially established diplomatic ties in 1966.
