Three people who are between the ages of 51 and 76 years old have died of coronavirus bringing The Gambia death toll to 93.

The Ministry of Health said the victims are two female and one man. 

“Out of a total of 7 posthumous samples collected, 3 tested positive for COVID-19,” the ministry said.

The Ministry of Health also announced that 22 people were tested positive for the virus of whom the oldest is aged 98 years.

The Gambia coronavirus cases is now  2,708 according to figures released by the ministry.
