The leader of the opposition All People’s Party has launched a fresh attack on President Adama Barrow and his government after returning from a trip to the U.K.

Dr. Bai Biram Jagne accused Barrow and his administration of neglecting Gambians but promised his government will rule the country according to the desires of the Gambian people.

“As we all know how Gambians are suffering and I stood for them to worry no more,” Dr. Jagne told reporters at the Banjul International Airport

“The country is going backward,” he said, adding that “this government is supposed to be creating a new dispensation as it was brought by the Coalition for Change.”

According  to him, “if Gambians vote in APP there will be change because we are not politicians but technocrats.”

Dr Jagne promised that every civil servant would be forced to declare their assets in order to fight corruption and promote transparency within the government.
