APRC says President Adama Barrow’s nomination crowd is a sign of his “absolute victory” in the December presidential election.

President Barrow yesterday pulled a large crowd of supporters in the thousands as they accompanied him to the IEC offices to file his nomination papers.

Dodou Jah, deputy spokesman for the APRC party said: “NPP alliance with APRC with the crowd, it is no doubt that in the history of the Gambia that the massive crowd that has been pull today shows that NPP, APRC alliance will be victorious these elections.”

“The division of some of our party members does not move this alliance an inch. We have seen them a few days ago and we see what they pull so seeing what we pull today will tell you that the majority is with the executives,” he added.

Meanwhile, Lang Tombong Tamba, also said despite Barrow being nominated by NPP the alliance with APRC still stands.

“The only thing we observe in him (Barrow) is victory and he is the one Gambia needs at this moment.

“Five years is not enough if he stays for another five years, I believe all that we want will be sorted out and the country will go forward,” he said.
