President Adama Barrow has defended his alliance with APRC and PPP, saying its for the stability of the country.
Speaking at a rally in Basse, the president said the alliance with the former ruling parties will deliver him victory in the December 4 presidential election.
“The government that had been here for 30 years and the government that had been here for 20 years that accommodate a great deal of experience joining a government that has been here for 5 years…what more experience will I look for?
“I want stability in this country and having these political parties means there is stability in the country,” he added.
Mr Barrow is almost half way into his meet-the-people tour, a duty enshrined by the Constitution to the nation’s leader to tour the country and talk to Gambians about their needs and concerns.
