President Adama Barrow has said December presidential election is a contest between him and Ousainou Darboe whom he promised to retire from politics.
Speaking in Jarra Soma, Barrow told supporters: “These people on the 4 December I will lay them down in hot ashes and it will be clear and fair wrestling.
“You know, in 2016, when I came here, I told you to just sit and relax because the wrestling is between age mates and for that the wrestling competition will be clear. But this year’s wrestling is between a father and a son.”
“And is between a new wrestler and an old wrestler and I want to retire him on December 4 and if I am wrestling him down, I will make sure I don’t hurt him because he is old now,” he added.
