The Gambian President Adama Barrow will on Monday (20 November) commenced a countrywide meet-the-people tour, according to the State House.

Barrow is expected to hold his first joint district meeting in the Community of Pakau Njogu in Upper Niumi District.

“His Excellency Adama Barrow, will hold eighteen (18) joint community meetings and visit twenty-one development project sites during the 2023 Meet The People Tour,” State House said.

“The development projects will cover agriculture including farming, livestock, food processing and storage. Rural Water supply, education, skills development, roads, and energy and sports infrastructure. The officials and traditional authorities in the North Bank Region will receive President Barrow to kick-start the seventeen-day tour from 20th November to 6th December 2023,” it added.
