Berewuleng FC maintained their narrow lead at the top of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Female First Division League with a dominant 8–0 victory over Jeshwang, keeping the title race alive heading into the final round.
Star forwards Mafanta Drammeh and Serra Jarju both bagged hat-tricks, while Kumba Gassama and Ellen Gomez added to the tally in a ruthless attacking display. The win takes Berewuleng to 43 points with a goal difference of +48, one point ahead of closest challengers TMT.
Meanwhile, Red Scorpions, the defending champions, produced a record-breaking 15–0 win over Yakarr, showcasing their firepower with an eye on the title. They now sit third on 41 points with an impressive +57 goal difference. TMT also kept up the pressure with a crucial win over Fortune Bi FC at Kabakel, taking them to 42 points and a goal difference of +21.
Final Day Permutations
Berewuleng vs TMT: This is the title decider on paper. A win for Berewuleng will crown them champions.
A draw, however, could cost them the title if Red Scorpions win their final match against Gambia Police Force. With a far superior goal difference (+57) compared to Berewuleng’s +48, Red Scorpions would leapfrog to the top on goal difference if both finish on 44 points.
TMT must win against Berewuleng to claim the title outright with 45 points, regardless of other results.
As the final matchday looms, the league is set for a dramatic finish, with Berewuleng, TMT, and Red Scorpions all still in the hunt. The spotlight now turns to the decisive fixtures that will determine who lifts the 2025 GFF Female First Division League title.
