Bubacarr Keita has been ruled out as the father of baby Muhammad as the court sanctioned DNA paternity test result showed.

The result also showed that the boyfriend of baby Muhammed’s mother, Pa Modou Johm, is not the biological father of the baby. 

The judge then informed the court that the Attorney General chambers has filed a Nolle prosequi against Bubacar Keita which means that the prosecution is not proceeding with the case.

The nolle prosequi indicates that the state does not wish to prosecute the case against Bubacarr Keita.

Proceeding continues as court is due in the day to rule on the matter.

Keita has endured a long ordeal after her ex-wife’s underage younger sister accused him of raping her leading to a pregnancy. 

The baby Muhammad who was at the centre of the rape trial died in tragic circumstances in Dakar when he was under the care of Keita’s ex-wife Sainabou Mbye 

She is facing manslaughter charges at the high court.
