Police have announced that a newborn baby was found dead along Nema-Su roadside, prompting an investigation into the tragic incident.

“The Nema Kunku Police are investigating a case of baby dumping after a deceased infant was discovered along the Nema-Su roadside. The police are collaborating with public health officials and other relevant stakeholders as investigations continue,” a statement from The Gambia Police Force said.
