APP-Sobeyaa leader Essa Mbye Faal has officially joined President Adama Barrow’s NPP-led coalition at a ceremony at McCarthy Square in Banjul.

Faal, once a fierce critic and political rival of President Barrow, has now aligned with the ruling NPP ahead of the 5 December presidential election.

The move marks a significant political shift for Faal, who previously campaigned against the Barrow administration and contested the 2021 presidential election.
