The Gambian Baby Scorpions put on a dominant display, thrashing their Somali counterparts 5-1 in an exciting Africa U-17 Cup of Nations clash in Morocco.

This impressive win comes after a disappointing loss to their neighbours, Senegal, in their opening match of the tournament.

The young Scorpions showcased an exceptional performance on Friday, securing a crucial three points. Captain Alieu Drammeh was the star of the match, scoring a brilliant hat-trick, while Baba Leigh and Baboucarr Mendy each added a goal to further extend Gambia’s lead.
Despite their struggles, Somalia managed to pull one back, with Ahmed Isse Mohammed finding the back of the net.
