Police in Sanyang have arrested five individuals in connection with the alleged abduction of the Alkalo of Kombo Berending, Abdoulie Sanyang.

The arrests were made on April 1, 2026. The suspects — Alasana Touray, Yaya Touray, Lamin Touray, Sulayman Touray and Morro Touray — are currently assisting investigators.

Authorities say inquiries are ongoing, with further updates expected as the investigation develops.
