The Governor of Central Bank of the Gambia says remittance surplus is expected this year despite the coronavirus impact on the country’s economy.
At the bank’s Monetary Policy Committee press conference today Buah Saidy said remittances to The Gambia totalled $472.80 million from January to October 2020.
He said this trend is expected to continue for the remainder of 2020.
