Gambia U-20 coach Abdoulie Bojang has expressed satisfaction with the range of talent of local-based Gambian players ahead of selection for the All African Games football championship in Ghana.

Bojang has invited a provisional squad of 30 players from the country’s domestic league to a selection training that began on Monday 5th February at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum

“I’m very impressed with what I am seeing as I always say Gambia we have abundant talents in this country. Technically the players are very good. They are playing week in week out. All of these players are from different clubs playing different systems.

“So, we want to introduce our philosophy so they understand, so probably next week we will have our first test game and see how best they can adapt to the philosophy. we have a very good squad at the moment,” he said.
