Dodou Jah, the former deputy spokesman for APRC, has expressed his willingness to reconcile President Adama Barrow with Lawyer Ousainou Darboe, arguing that the two are good friends.

Mr Jah criticised unnamed individuals surrounding both leaders for failing to mend the once-cordial relationship between the two politicians.

“If I have the opportunity, I would work on reconciling the two of them. Anytime I meet with President Adama Barrow and he gives me the go-ahead I would start the process. And whenever I meet with Lawyer Ousainou Darboe, I would still engage him,” he said.

He also encouraged President Barrow to maintain dialogue with Lawyer Darboe, noting that the phone call he recently made was a positive step in the right direction.

The relationship of the two has deteriorated further since President Barrow fired Lawyer Darboe from the role of vice president.
