A top Gambian dancehall star has stepped into the brewing rap war between Hussain Dada and Attack Gaye, urging both artists to keep things from boiling over when they finally face off this Saturday.

ENC, who is based in Europe, issued the warning as fans gear up for what is already being branded the “clash of the year,” amid fears the heated rivalry could spill beyond music.

The tension has been building for weeks, with both rappers trading diss tracks and pushing boundaries, leaving supporters hyped but wary ahead of the live showdown.
But ENC is calling for cool heads.

“You guys might have your on and offs… we understand that’s music,” he said. “But this night you are going to bring two different sets of audiences together.”

He warned that the energy on stage could quickly shape the mood in the crowd.

“You are the leader… you are the one that can control the energy and set the pace,” ENC added, making it clear the responsibility lies squarely with the artists.

In a direct appeal, he urged both camps to tone down the aggression.

“Let’s be careful of the words we use… keep it within music and entertainment.”

Saturday’s clash is expected to pull a massive crowd, with fans split and tensions already running high online. And with both stars reportedly earning big money for the showdown, the stakes couldn’t be higher.
