The Fajikunda community is mourning the tragic death of Ebrima Trawally, popularly known as “Stubborn”, who reportedly died while travelling the “backway” route in an attempt to reach Spain.

Ebrima was a player for Ebbeh Gi, a well-known nawettan team in Fajikunda, where he earned the respect and admiration of teammates, supporters and the wider football community.

News of his passing has left his family, friends, former teammates and the entire Ebbeh Gi community in deep sorrow, as they remember a young man whose dreams of a better future ended in tragedy.

Those who knew Ebrima have paid tribute to his passion for football and the lasting memories he created both on and off the pitch.
