A fire outbreak has caused significant damage to the Kuwait Centre for Quran Memorization and Islamic Studies in Farato, disrupting learning for students who depend on the institution.

The incident, which occurred last night affected parts of the facility and forced a halt to academic activities. The cause of the fire has not yet been disclosed.

Management of the centre said the damage has had a direct impact on students, many of whom rely on the institution for Quranic education and moral development.

The disruption has raised concerns among parents and community members about when classes will resume.

In response, the centre has launched a public appeal, calling on individuals, organisations and well-wishers to support efforts to rebuild the facility.

They emphasised that contributions, whether financial, materials or services, will be essential in restoring normal operations.

“We are appealing to the general public to come to our aid so that students can continue their studies without prolonged interruption,” the management said.

The centre plays an important role in providing accessible Islamic education to children in Farato and surrounding communities, making its restoration a priority for residents.

Those willing to support the rebuilding efforts have been encouraged to contribute through the contact channels provided by the organisers, as the community rallies to restore the damaged facility.
