Former Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Abdoulie Kujabi, has died at the age of 65 after a long illness.
He passed away on Friday morning and will be laid to rest today, 13 September, in his hometown of Dobong, Foni.
Kujabi once headed the NIA, a feared security agency under the government of former President Yahya Jammeh.
The agency was later disbanded and restructured into the State Intelligence Service (SIS) following Jammeh’s departure.
