A fatal car accident has claimed four lives including a toddler along Pirang highway.

An eyewitness who spoke to Gambiana said the red pick-up car summersaulted when it was overspeeding.

“Four people died in the accident and a toddler,” the eyewitness said.

She said the mother of the toddler was sitting behind the pick-up when the accident happened.

Police spokesman Lamin Njie couldn’t be reached for comment.
