The Gambia progress to the knockout stage of the FIFA U-20 World Cup as Group F leader after goalless draw with South Korea. 

The Young Scorpions have already secured their place to the last 16 after beating Honduras and France in their first two matches. 

The game against South Korea was to determine the Group F leader which Gambia held onto after a spirited play coming close several times to snatching victory. 

Gambia had six shots on targets but failed to capitalise on their dominance against the Asian team yesterday at the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas in Mendoza. 

The Young Scorpions will face Group E runners-up Uruguay in their next match on 1 June. 

Meanwhile, Gambia wonderkid Adama Bojang will have his autographed jersey on display at the FIFA Museum. 

The talented striker nicknamed The Gambia hurricane has made an impressive start to the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina. Bojang’s autographed jersey was handed to the FIFA Director of Competition responsible for the Mendoza Zone during a visit to the museum today. 

The GFF 1st Vice President and U-20’s Head of Delegation Bakary K Jammeh, Team Manager Pa Suwareh Faye and members of the technical staff made the presentation.
