The Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) has welcomed home two young officers, Lieutenant Yunusa E. Susso and Lieutenant Edrissa E. Jallow, following their completion of an 11-month training programme at the Army Academy of Special Operations in Guangzhou, China.

This initiative is part of GAF’s commitment to enhancing the skills and professionalism of its armed forces. The programme aligns with global best practices aimed at building capacity within the military.

During their time in China, both officers excelled in a variety of special operations courses, showcasing exceptional performance throughout their training.

The GAF expressed its gratitude for the support provided by the Chinese Army, highlighting the importance of international cooperation in military development.
