Despite previous reminders, the ministry continues to receive reports of unauthorised fees being charged for land transactions.  

While acknowledging the cultural practice of voluntary donations, the ministry emphasises that such donations should never be imposed or made conditional on land transactions. 

Any compulsory fees associated with land transactions are strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.

The ministry has warned that sanctions will be imposed on Alkalos or any other individuals who violate this directive, underscoring its commitment to ensuring the integrity of land transactions within communities.
