Gambia Experience and Titan Airways will run a new Monday flights from London Gatwick to Banjul International Airport

Gambia Experience, a U.K based tour operator, has launched a new Monday morning flight from London Gatwick to Banjul to fill the void created by the collapsed of Thomas Cook.

In a Facebook post on Saturday the Hampshire based travel firm said:

“Now offering a NEW Monday morning flight from London Gatwick with Titan Airways, there’s no better time to escape to The Gambia.”

The new flight partnership is with Titan Airways that have covered other tourism destinations for the company.

Gambia Experience continues to offer flights and holiday deals to British tourists and U.K based Gambians who are intending to visit The Gambia.

The company worked closely with the collapsed tour operator, Thomas Cook, and has assured customers that it would provide alternative flights for them as they are Atol protected.

“You have probably heard the unfortunate news that Thomas Cook has fallen into administration and may be wondering how this change affects your holiday with us,” the company said on its website.

“The good news is, you don’t have to worry. If you have booked a package holiday with us that includes flights with Thomas Cook, rest assured that your money is ATOL protected and we are working on finding alternative flights for your holiday as soon as possible.

“We will contact every customer with an upcoming holiday when we have more information, but will prioritise those with an imminent departure.”
