The Gambia U-20 team will today take on France in their second FIFA U20 World Cup match today at the Estadio Malvinas in Argentina.

Gambia are leading Group F with 3 points 2 goals after beating Honduras in their first opener on Monday thanks to star striker Adama Bojang’s double goals.

France, who are one of the favourites in the group beating by South Korea in their first match. The Les Bleuets are looking to avoid another defeat.

However, Coach Abdoulie Bojang said they’re committed and ready to put pressure on the French team. A win for Gambia will see them qualify for the knockout stages with a game in hand.

“We would be more relaxed and the most important thing is to try to be composed and hit them on the counter attack,” Coach Bojang said.

“We could make some changes, it depends, if you look at all our games in the previous competitions, any time we bring in substitutes, we move the game to another level.”

The game will kick off at 6pm Gambian Tome and you can watch the game for free live on FIFA‘s U-20 World Cup website here
