Gambia will face Mali today (28 March) in their second leg match of the AFCON qualifiers.  

This is a must win match for Gambia to improve their chances of qualifying for the elite African football tournament next year in Ivory Coast.

Mali lead the group with nine points followed by Congo Brazzaville on six points. 

Gambia and South Sudan are bottom of the table with three points each. 

Tom Saintfiet side need to find that extra quality to beat Mali to have any chance of making another appearance at the AFCON tournament after an impressive debut in Cameroon last year. 

Gambia’s home game will be played in Morocco this afternoon after CAF banned the Independence Stadium in Bakau from hosting any international matches due to is “sub-standard facilities”.

The Kick off time is 4pm
