The Gambia coach Tom Saintfiet has said his team will correct their errors before playing Guinea on Friday.

The Scorpions suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of Senegal who thrashed them 3-0 in Yamassoukro.

Speaking at a post-match press conference, the Belgian tactician expressed regret but said the team will bounce back from the defeat.

He said the team was without key players

like Abdoulie Jallow, Ebrima Colley who were suspended.

“We will go back and prepare for the next game against Guinea Conakry,” he said.

The Gambia, which sits at the bottom of Group C, will take on Guinea on Friday in a must win match to stand any chance of making it to the next rounds.
